Vacation Care Booking Form and Booking Policy Agreement April 2021

Rose Park OSHC are pleased to offer an exciting vacation care program for the upcoming April school holidays.

All bookings must be accompanied by a signed agreement which must be sent via email to Please click the link at the top of the page for the booking agreement PDF.

Priority 1 is given to children who are currently using our After School Care program. Priority bookings must be made by 6.00pm Friday 29 March.
Priority 2 is given to children currently using our Before School care program, these bookings must be made by 6.00pm Wednesday 31 March.

From Thursday 1 April spaces will be made available for all other children currently enrolled at the service and currently enrolled at the school.
Final date for all bookings must be made by 6.00pm Friday 9 April.
Bookings after this date may not be supported due to staffing ratios as per the National Regulations

Hours of Operation

Our operating hours for vacation care are 6:45am until 6:00pm.


Vacation Care Flat rate of $65.00 (no half-session fees). This cost is inclusive of all attraction charges, and transport with seat belts as standard when required.

Late Fees

A late collection fee of $15 for the first 15 minutes and then $2 per minute thereafter will apply for children who are not collected by 6:00pm.

Late Payment of Fees

Rose Park Primary School OSHC reserve the right to engage an outside agency to recover overdue accounts. All fees for this service will be added to the overdue account.


The final date for all bookings is 6:00pm Friday 9 April; this is to enable us to allocate sufficient staffing for each day of Vacation Care. Bookings made after this date may not be guaranteed. When bookings are taken the “Priority of Access Guidelines” set out by The Australian Government will be followed. They are as follows:

“When the demand for childcare exceeds supply (available places) in some locations, the following three levels of priority must be followed by childcare services”

Priority 1 – A child at risk of serious abuse or neglect;

Priority 2 – A child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy, the work/training/study test under section 14 of the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Act 1999;

Priority 3 – any other child.

Within these main categories, priority will also be given to the following children:

  • children in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families;
  • children in families which include a disabled person;
  • children in families which include an individual whose adjusted taxable income does not exceed the lower income threshold, or who or whose partner are on income support;
  • children in families from a non-English speaking background;
  • children in socially isolated families;
  • children of single parents


Cancellations for bookings must be made within 7 operating day of the booking.  

Excursion days may incur a full fee charge if children on the waiting list cannot fill a cancelled position; Absences without notifying the service will incur the full fee.

Payment Options

All payments must be made via the Qkr App or via bank transfer.

Accounts are payable within 14 days of the invoice.

Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times during care, thongs are not permitted.

Behaviour Management – Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for their own behaviour and as such are expected to be:

  • AWARE that we create our own future as a consequence of our actions
  • RESPECTFUL of others and their property
  • CARING of others and school resources
  • MINDFUL to enhance the school’s reputation

Students are reminded that should they not meet the school’s Student Responsibilities, consequences may include exclusion from our OHSC service.


Breakfast (available between 7am and 8:30am) and late afternoon tea are provided everyday. Children will need to bring in their own lunch and enough snacks for morning and afternoon recess unless specified on the activities sheet.
