Our mission is to inspire quality teaching and learning through developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring citizens of the world.
RPPS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and provides a comprehensive curriculum based on the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Australian Curriculum. A significant feature of the Curriculum is our Specialist Program which operates for all classes on a weekly basis consisting of lessons in Physical Education, Arts (Music, Dance, Drama, Visual & Media Arts), Japanese, Science and Inquiry, and Innovative Technology through iCentre support.
Bringing technology into the classroom has been shown to be a successful way to provide a 21st century learning environment, promoting creative thinking, communication, and collaboration. RPPS uses Google Apps for Education (GSuite) from Years 4-7 within the school Chromebook program. Further details can be found in the Rose Park Primary School Chromebook Guide
In addition, we provide an extensive range of extra-curricular activities to enrich and engage our student body. Additional extra-curricular activities are available on site on a user-pays basis including private instrumental music lessons, singing lessons, and after school sports along with our Out of School Hours care program provided by Camp Australia.
“A learning community, encouraging achievement and embracing diversity.”
