Chanell Bonfiglio

Chanell is a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong understanding of Primary Years Pedagogy. She graduated from The University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Education Primary/Middle degree.

Chanell views respectful and trusting relationships as the cornerstone of establishing a positive and success-orientated school climate. She is a dynamic educator who seeks to recognise and understand the holistic child, so that purposeful learning can be planned and implemented. She prides herself on developing a class climate that embraces diversity, nurtures creativity, and enriches life-long learning. Hence, empowering students to become agents of change, not only for themselves but for the greater good of others, and the world. She achieves this by appreciating and promoting participation, facilitating curiosity and most importantly, encouraging questions and wonderings.

Chanell seeks to cultivate a positive growth mindset in her students by modelling appropriate language and encourages students to relish challenges, embrace mistakes, value effort and respond to constructive feedback.

Chanell is delighted to be joining the Rose Park Primary School community and looks forward to working in partnership with students, staff and families, to help all individuals to become confident, creative and innovative learners.


Ali Parletta

Ali is a creative educator who is delighted to begin teaching at Rose Park Primary School in 2022. She completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science before her Masters Degree in Primary Teaching.  

Ali creates a safe classroom with a focus on wellbeing. She practices mindfulness with students and fosters a nurturing and inclusive environment. By promoting student agency and valuing effort, Ali encourages students to take responsibility for their learning and meet their goals. Ali strives to inspire resilient students who are willing to take risks in their learning by teaching a growth mindset approach.  

Ali is passionate about sustainability and connection to nature. She has introduced green waste and other recycling programs at her previous school. Ali believes it is crucial that children connect with and consider their impact on their natural environment.
